A cultural studies scholar and professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna\u0144. Since 2013 she has been working at the Polish-German Research Institute at Collegium Polonicum in S\u0142ubice. Her research interests include: problems of nationalism and forced migration in Europe, Polish-German relations, identity issues in border regions, as well as culture and the politics of memory. For her book entitled \u201cThe Polish Wild West.
