Art and Heritage in Central Europe<\/h1>

The Jerzy Bere\u015b exhibition at Cricoteka, created in cooperation with the Maria Pini\u0144ska-Bere\u015b and Jerzy Bere\u015b Foundation, takes place on the 60th anniversary of the artist\u2019s first individual exhibition, organized on the initiative of Grupa Krakowska at Krzysztofory Gallery. Bere\u015b is another exhibition at Cricoteka that presents the works of artists who were closely associated with Tadeusz Kantor.<\/p>\n

From March 21 to December 8, 2024, Cricoteka hosts an exhibition of Jerzy Bere\u015b, one of Poland\u2019s most important avant-garde artists. \u201cBere\u015b\u201d is the first major presentation of his work since the artist\u2019s death in 2012, which consists of two closely related streams: sculptures and manifestations. An extensive accompanying program is also planned \u2013 male and female performers will be invited to dialogue with Bere\u015b\u2019 work. Also planned is the opportunity to establish a direct relationship with some of the original objects by touching and setting them in motion.<\/p>\n
