Portraying the Ottoman Presence&#8221; Exhibition at the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"txtblock wow fadeIn\" data-wow-delay=\"0.2s\">\r\n    <div class=\"container\">\r\n        <div class=\"row\">\r\n            <div class=\"col-xl-8 offset-xl-2 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1\">\r\n        <h1 class=\"wow fadeInUp\" data-wow-delay=\"0.2s\">Art and Heritage in Central Europe<\/h1>            <div class=\"txt wow fadeInUp\" data-wow-delay=\"0.3s\"><p>Through an example of rich cultural exchange, the exhibition at SNG Bratislava presents the interesting yet dramatic story of Hungarian-Ottoman relations during the 16th and 17th centuries. It introduces the period of Ottoman expansion in Hungary and the related mutual influences, especially overlaps of Ottoman material culture into Central European art.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition is the result of a six-year scientific research project in which more than twenty historians, archivists, art historians, military historians, literary historians, and archaeologists from various scientific and collecting institutions participated.
