The objective is not to present definitive results but to propose an initial reflection on the methods and the possibilities of prosopographic research using the Carthusian order as a starting point and model. The first step is therefore to present the promising research perspectives in relation to the sources that can be used, how to use them and the possible results:<br \/>\n&#8211; either from an example already analysed,<br \/>\n&#8211; or from remarkable sources that may raise questions about their prosopographic treatment.<br \/>\nThey invite participants to think about what they would expect from a prosopographic study and which \u201cfields\u201d they would like to see included in a general database of a given order. We will thus be able to consider together the following questions: is an overall prosopographic database of the order necessary? Is it possible?<\/p>\n<p>Please send your proposals for papers that can be presented in about 30 minutes maximum in English, German, French, Spanish or Italian. The proposals should include the following: the title, an abstract of about 250 words, and a short CV of no more than a single page. Please submit your proposals to the conference e-mail address \u2013 cfp.uifs@zrc-sazu.si \u2013 by 30 September 2022. The selection of papers will be completed by 30 November 2022.
