The large-scale show of some two hundred works, including eighty-four paintings, reveals the diversity of Gul\u00e1csy\u2019s profound art by highlighting new contexts. Besides the many well-known masterpieces, visitors can view several recently identified works. His paintings, drawings, and illustrations are complemented by Gul\u00e1csy\u2019s manuscripts, photographs taken of him and characteristic works by his contemporaries.<\/p>\n<p>Gul\u00e1csy was a child of his age not only through his dreams and historical nostalgia but also through his artistic erudition. Lajos Gul\u00e1csy, Dezs\u0151 F\u00e1y and Arth\u00far Keleti under the Spell of Italy&#8221; (Graphic cabinet &#8211; 7 April \u2013 27 August 2023) presents the art of Gul\u00e1csy together with that of his student, Dezs\u0151 F\u00e1y, and their writer friend, Arth\u00far Keleti. Visitors can view 120 or so works: 25 paintings and watercolours, some 60 graphic sheets as well as 30 lithographs and woodcuts.
