“The History of Bohemia in Pictures I” is a cabinet exhibition on the 4th floor of the Trade Fair Palace as a part of the exhibition “1796–1918: Art of the Long Century”, presenting the most significant cycle of prints depicting Bohemian history, which was initiated by Antonín Machek and since 1820 continued by many important and overlooked Czech artists, including Josef Führich and Václav Mánes. The exhibition is available until 10 August 2025.

Another exhibition within “1796–1918: Art of the Long Century” is “Drawing a Bath: The Motif of Bathing in Czech and European Modern Art”. The Graphic Arts Cabinet shows how the theme of bathing developed among modern painters depicting bathing in the intimacy of the home (Edgar Degas, Félix Vallotton, Pierre Bonnard) or out in the open air (Auguste Renoir, František Kupka, Tavík František Šimon), and how it gave rise to experiments in Expressionism (Walther Klemm, Max Pechstein) or Cubism (Paul Cézanne, Václav Špála). This exhibition is also available until 10 August 2025: https://www.ngprague.cz/en/event/4355/in-the-bath-and-in-the-tub
