An art historian and a professor at the Art History Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Between 2001 to 2008 she was the head of the Faculty of Art History at Comenius University in Bratislava. She specialises in the history of 19th and 20th-century architecture and architectural theory. Among her many publications of special note is her monograph Architekt Dušan Samuel Jurkovič, published in 2009 by Slovart.
