Felix Ackermann
Born 1978 in Berlin, founder of the Institute for Applied History at the European University Viadrina, where he now runs the Geschichtswerkstatt Europa (Historical Workshop Europe) programme. Received an M.A. degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science. In 2008 he defended a Ph.D. thesis on ethnic relations in the 20th century Grodno (at the European University Viadrina). He spent his third year of secondary school in the Polish Wronki. In 2004-2007 he lived in Grodno, wrote comments in Polish for the Głos znad Niemna newspaper and ran a blog ewropa.blox.pl.
