A senior lecturer in classical languages at Pula University (Croatia), and a doctoral student at the Department of Polish Studies at the Jagiellonian University. A translator from Latin, Greek, Spanish and Polish, and the author of works on ancient and Renaissance artists, he specialises in Polish and Croatian literature of the Early Modern Age in the European setting and in the context of contemporary Polish-Croatian relations.
