“Moc Dętych” – Brass Bands’ Festival in Zabrze, Poland (28-30 June 2024)

Art and Heritage in Central Europe

MOC DĘTYCH (the Power of Brass) is a brand new version of a Brass Bands’ Festival – 10 brass bands in 3 days will entertain you providing fun and education on regional heritage. There is going be a dancing evening, a procession and a music battle! The entrance to the event is free.

June 28th (Friday): „CHILOUT”

17:00 Szyb Maciej (“Maciej” Shaft) – Miners’ Brass Bands:
„Sośnica” conducting Agnieszka Wajgel
„Piekary Julian” conducting Artur Kulka
„Bolesław Śmiały” conducting Aleksander Fojcik

June 29th (Saturday): „FUN”

17:00 Strefa Carnall Sztolnia Królowa Luiza – Miners’ Brass Bands:
„Pokój” conducting Jacek Kampa
„Halemba” conducting Piotr Szczygioł
„Bielszowice” conducting Zygmunt Kliks

– workshops of handmade production

– Extreme presentations of Miners’ Rescue Station

June 30th (Sunday), „MUSIC BATTLE”
